The game

What is Slush Fund?

A free online snowball fight for adults. Up to 12 players share a room in Pinecone Falls, a snowed-in town of 16 districts, from the Rail Yard to Sled Hill. Bots fill any empty spots. You play in your browser, so there's nothing to download.

What do I need to play?

Any modern browser on a phone or a computer. On a phone, turn it to landscape. You don't need a crypto wallet or the token to play, ever.

What are the modes?

Free-for-all and Team match (Red vs Blue). You can form a party with friends, and party members can't hit each other. Rounds last 4 minutes with a 10-second break between them. Hold the Soapbox, a moving zone, for 4 points a second; it moves every 45 seconds, and it's contested when two sides are inside.

How do weapons work?

Everyone starts with snowballs: 5 in hand, refilling over time, and five hits freezes someone. On top of that there are 20 weapons. You earn them in play, from crates, power-ups, drops and chests around town. The thirteen earned weapons can also be bought in the Armoury, as exactly the same weapons with the same numbers, and weapon wraps change only the look. Clips run out, you drop the weapon when you're frozen, and crates restock after 14 seconds. Highlights include the Hot Take Dispenser, Thoughts & Prayers (seeks out the target, rarely changes anything) and the Orbital Freeze Ray.

How do the controls work?

Computer: click to lock the mouse, WASD to move, mouse to look, hold left click to wind up and release to throw. Space jumps, Shift sprints, C or Ctrl slides, M opens the map, Tab shows scores, T taunts and R records a clip. There's also a keys-only layout with aim help. Phone: left thumb moves (push all the way to sprint), drag the right side to look, and use the buttons to throw, jump, slide and taunt, with aim help. Settings on the main menu cover mouse sensitivity, field of view, graphics and sound.

Is there a ranking or leaderboard?

Yes, three of them, each showing the top 50: Today and This week rank by points scored, and All time ranks by rating, then knockouts. You can see them on the leaderboard page and in the game. The week's top three wear a crown on their name tag in every match. Ratings use Elo and only count games between real players, so bots never change your rating. Tiers run from Snowflake up through Flurry, Snowstorm and Blizzard to Ice King.

Do the leaderboards reset?

This week starts fresh every Monday at 00:00 UTC, the same moment the weekly contract does, so everyone is back to zero and the crowns are up for grabs. Today rolls over the last 24 hours. All time never resets. One fresh start a week, which is more than real life offers.

What changes each day?

Two things, at midnight UTC, the same in every room. Today's twist changes one rule: Low Gravity, Cocoa Day (everyone is fast), Big Snow (huge snowballs), Fast Thaw (frozen for one second) or Deep Pockets (ten snowballs). The weapon of the day fills a quarter of the crates, pays a +15 bonus on every freeze and counts double toward mastery. Its crates have a tall beacon you can see across town. You also get three new daily challenges.

What's the weekly contract?

One big goal a week, the same for everyone: freeze 60 people, play 20 rounds, land 25 headshots, finish top 3 eight times, take out 12 turkeys, win 5 rounds, land 30 assists, freeze 15 in the squall, pocket 3 slush fund drops or end 15 streaks. It adds up across rounds and pays 450 to 600 XP. A new one starts every Monday at 00:00 UTC.

What are the bonuses for?

Freezing someone at the right moment pays extra: First Freeze +25, Revenge +30, Comeback +50, Clutch +40, Buzzer Beater +40, Long Shot +20, Bounty +40 and Nemesis Down +35. Named streaks drop a care package on you, and back-to-back wins pay up to +100 XP. Freeze 25 people with one weapon to master it for 250 XP. The full list is on How to play.

Can I record clips?

Yes. Press R (or REC) to record up to 30 seconds. On desktop, auto-clips start on your first freeze and keep the clip only if it turns into a streak, so what you're offered is worth posting. Share to X opens the share sheet on a phone, or downloads the clip and opens a post on desktop. The "Share my round" button makes a square poster of your round. Clips are made in your browser and never uploaded to our server.

When does it launch?

The open beta opens on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at noon ET, free for everyone 18 and over, and the presale opens the same moment. The full launch, with the launch tournament, is December 1. The presale closes December 22 at noon ET and $SLUSH launches December 24. Register to hear first, or watch the countdown.

Accounts & age

Who can play?

Adults only. You must be 18 or older to make an account, and sign-up asks you to confirm it, including the one-tap townie account. The humor is aimed at grown-ups who have sat through an HOA meeting.

Do I need an account?

Not a typed one. Tap Play now, pick a name later on the sign-up screen and you're in as a townie, kept on that device. Pick a name and password in Settings whenever you like and the account, with everything it earned, works on any device.

What are the rules for usernames?

3 to 16 characters: letters, numbers and underscores. Names are filtered, and players can report a name that slips through.

How is my account protected?

Passwords are stored as scrypt hashes, never as plain text. An account locks after 8 failed logins, and each account can be in one live game at a time.

Fair play

Is everything free?

The game is free to play, and every weapon can be earned in play, from crates, power-ups, drops and chests. Weapons and looks can also be bought. Bought weapons are the same weapons players earn, and nothing bought changes the numbers: no extra hearts, damage or speed. Prize points and the leaderboard come only from playing. Characters all play the same, whatever they look like.

How do you stop cheating?

The game server decides what happens. Your device only sends your inputs, so it can't claim a hit that didn't happen. Players can report cheating, and cheaters can be banned under our Terms of Use.

Is there chat?

No text chat. Fewer opinions, more snowballs. Usernames are filtered, and you can report one that isn't okay.

Do you upload my clips?

No. Clips you record with R are made in your browser and never uploaded. They're yours to keep or share.

Shop & payments

What will I be able to buy?

Weapons: ten of the thirteen earned weapons as singles at $1.99 or $4.99, the three strongest together as the Top Shelf at $9.99, all thirteen as the Full Armoury at $24.99, and the Spawn Kit at $9.99, which starts each round with a weapon from your arsenal in hand. You can try every weapon except the Top Shelf for free at the Maple Range first. Looks: bought directly with known contents, priced from $0.99 to $149.99: shop items and skins, weapon wraps (same stats, new look), bundles, the $7.99 Winter season pass, the $14.99 Founder's Pack and, later, a few collector items. Prices are in US dollars, and you pay with SOL or USDC on Solana; there are no card payments. All purchases are final once the item is delivered. The full list is on the weapons page. Bought weapons are the same weapons players earn, and nothing bought changes the numbers: no extra hearts, damage or speed. Prize points and the leaderboard come only from playing. Chests are never sold. Payments aren't live yet, and nothing can be bought today. We'll list what's in the shop before it opens.

What can I unlock for free?

The Winter Season free track is live now and unlocks items as you level up: the Bucket Hat of Plausible Deniability (level 3), the Municipal Traffic Cone (level 5), the Mall Santa Beard (level 7), Suburban Camo (level 10) and the Witness Protection Disguise (level 15), plus titles along the way. There's also the Paper Crown of Middle Management from the Daily Chest and the Glitter Bomb Trail from the Streak Chest. You can also build up to 3 custom characters in the maker for free.

What's in chests?

Chests are earned in play and never sold. The Daily Chest (all three daily challenges in a day) holds Thoughts & Prayers, the Influencer Ring Light and the Paper Crown of Middle Management. The Streak Chest (a streak milestone day) holds the Orbital Freeze Ray and the Glitter Bomb Trail. The Contract Chest (the weekly contract) holds The Algorithm and the NIMBY Grenade. Each one gives you a listed thing you don't have yet, or +150 XP once you have them all. Items can't be traded or sold.

Can I get a refund on something I bought?

No. Weapons, cosmetics, skins and every other shop item are final sales and can't be refunded once delivered. If a payment goes wrong and doesn't buy anything (for example it's short, sent twice or arrives after the quote runs out), it's refunded automatically, in the same coin, to the wallet it came from. Shop items are a license to use them in the game, not property, and they have no cash value. See the Terms of Use.

The token & presale

Crypto is high risk. You can lose all the money you put in. Nothing here is financial advice, an offer to sell, or a solicitation.

What is $SLUSH?

The joke token of Slush Fund, on Solana. Despite the name, it is not a fund: it holds nothing, pays nothing and promises nothing. It is separate from the game, and you never need it to play. 40% of the supply is set aside for player rewards. Season 1 starts on Christmas Day, and the first prizes are paid in $SLUSH at the end of the season in late March, after the token launches. Each prize season runs three months; at the end, the prize list is public for 7 days before anything is paid.

How do season prizes work?

Prize points come only from playing rounds: 1 point for playing a round, a bonus for finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd, and 1 point for each real player you knock out (up to 10 a round). You can earn at most 100 points a day, rounds need at least 4 real players, and new accounts start earning after 3 days. Points never come from XP, contracts, challenges or the Winter Season track, so nothing anyone buys can affect prizes. To receive prizes you link a wallet inside the game by signing a free message, which moves no funds. Each prize season shares 25 million $SLUSH by points, and no wallet gets more than 2% of a season. Season 1 starts on Christmas Day. Prize points count from then, and the first prizes are paid in $SLUSH at the end of the season in late March, after the token launches. Each prize season runs three months; at the end, the prize list is public for 7 days before anything is paid. Prizes are for playing, not income. Players must be 18 or older, and the official rules will say who can take part.

Can I buy it now?

Not yet. Buying is not open. Register and we'll tell you the moment it is. Until then, anyone offering you $SLUSH is not us.

How will the presale work?

Connect a Solana wallet, then pick an amount from $25 to $5,000 per wallet, paid in USDC or SOL. Tick a box confirming you understand you could lose all the money you spend, check that the address your wallet shows matches the bot's /verify command and our pinned posts, and approve the payment. Pay only from a wallet you control, never from an exchange account. If you pay in SOL, the amount shown is an estimate: your final count uses the SOL price when your payment lands. Money over $5,000 per wallet, money that arrives after the $150,000 cap is reached, and money sent after the presale closes are refunded to the wallet they came from after the presale closes. The how-to-buy video shows every step.

Who can join the presale?

Slush is available globally to anyone 18 or over.

When do presale buyers get their tokens?

Your tokens are reserved for your wallet when you pay. When the token launches, after the presale closes, they're sent to that wallet, 100% unlocked.

Where does the presale money go?

Straight from your wallet into a Squads multisig vault, never to a personal wallet. Every dollar is split two ways. Half goes into the trading pool at launch, paired with $SLUSH from the 5% liquidity allocation in a USDC pool on Solana; the pool's LP tokens are burned, so nobody, us included, can take that money back out. Half goes to the company treasury, a multisig that needs several signers, with every spend published on the on-chain proof page. It pays for marketing, creator deals and tournament prizes, plus running costs such as servers, moderation and legal. Presale money is not used to build or run the game. $SLUSH pays no share of revenue, and there are no buybacks.

What if the presale doesn't reach its minimum?

If it raises less than the $30,000 soft cap, there is no launch. Every buyer is refunded the exact amount and currency they paid (USDC or SOL), to the wallet they paid from, out of the presale vault, starting within 7 days of the presale ending. Network fees are not refunded.

Can I lose money?

Yes, all of it. The token can lose most or all of its value, and there may be nobody to sell it to. Nobody can promise you a return. Only spend what you can afford to lose completely. Read the full list of risks.

Safety & scams

Will the team ever message me first?

No. We never DM first, on Telegram, Instagram, Discord or anywhere else, and we never send payment addresses by DM. Anyone who does is pretending to be us.

Will anyone ask for my seed phrase or password?

Never. No one from the team will ask for a password, seed phrase, private key or a "wallet verification". Anyone who asks is trying to empty your wallet.

How do I find the real token address?

It's published on the on-chain proof page and our official channels at launch. Lookalike tokens with the same name are fakes, so check the address matches before you do anything.

Someone offered me an airdrop if I send crypto first. Is it real?

No. Any "send to receive" offer is a scam, and the only presale is the one linked from this website. Report fakes to [SECURITY CONTACT EMAIL] and read Stay safe for more.
